Yamanooto fans have a new alternative software to flash roms! While official support gets updated, the new tools can be used to manage the roms preservation needed when using built-in sdcard storage (Nextor).

Our friend Armando, who already created the amazing storage driver for Nextor has added a new tool to handle it all. You can flash games and the tool automatically does the necessary offset to keep your Nextor image and the game.
From YAMAFL.TXT:
- YAMAFL is an MSX-DOS/DOS2/NEXTOR command-line utility engineered to facilitate the provisioning of Kernels, Virtual Block Resources (VBR), and binary ROM images onto Yamanooto non-volatile storage. The primary objective of YAMAFL is to streamline and standardize low-level flash memory operations, serving as a specialized functional counterpart to the YAMCORE toolset.
- YAMAFL is specifically designed for operation with the NEXTORYM hardware driver, although it can function independently as a standalone utility.
- Beginning with YAMAFL version 2.1, when paired with the ziggy1beta7 core or later, the system provides full support for loading ROM images that utilize a variety of mapper types. This enhancement improves compatibility with a broader range of software and hardware configurations.
The new tools work with older yimmi core (the later ones with storage) but add support for ziggy cores too. With ziggy cores you get an amazing new feature: K4 and ASCII8/16 support!
You can use a new companion tool specific for upgrading the core too: YAMACORE

Enjoy!
